When an assessment needs substantial parallel compute, memory or local working storage, a dedicated lab can keep the pieces together. Recon Metal reserves the physical machine for one customer.

The range uses an isolated network segment, a 10 Gbit/s physical port and 1 Gbit/s of included bandwidth. Work only within systems you own or are authorised to test. Serial console and power controls provide another route to administer the machine.
Windows, with the licence boundary clear.
Choose Windows Server 2022 or 2019 and connect with Administrator access over Remote Desktop. A paid Windows licence is not included. Activate a compatible key after the evaluation period and keep enough disk space for the system and its updates.

VPS, dedicated or web hosting?+
A Cloud VPS gives you an isolated virtual machine and root access: a flexible home for apps, games and development. Dedicated gives you the entire physical server. Web hosting bundles website management through cPanel or Plesk, with less server administration.
What is included in the protection?+
Always-on DDoS mitigation is included. Cloud compute uses KVM isolation, while ECC memory and enterprise storage provide the hardware foundation. Your applications still need updates, secure credentials and an independent backup strategy.
Can I choose Switzerland or Germany?+
Yes. The region selector updates the catalogue and your configuration. Swiss and German rates may differ; the displayed price always follows your selected territory.
Can I use Linux or Windows?+
Cloud and dedicated configurations offer Linux options. Windows Server is available on compatible configurations and requires a valid licence after any applicable evaluation period. Web hosting uses its included control panel.
What are the specialised ranges for?+
Vanguard focuses on CPU performance. Sovereign supports independent platforms with specific content-policy requirements. Recon is for authorised security testing. Signal Metal provides streaming-oriented bandwidth. Applicable law, permission and acceptable-use terms always apply.
How do I choose the right size?+

Does saving a configuration place an order?+
No. A saved configuration is a planning brief kept on this device. You can download or copy it. Your client account brings together orders, hosting details and support conversations. A saved planning brief itself creates no charge or reservation.
