# Crypto checkout: check the asset, network and payment instruction together

A cryptocurrency symbol alone is not enough to prepare a hosting payment. The asset, blockchain network, destination address, amount and instruction expiry must all refer to the same order. HM Bastion separates the currency choice from the page used to follow that payment.

## The practical takeaway

Use the network and exact amount on the owned payment page, keep the order reference, and rely on verified order status rather than an animation or an elapsed timer.

## Review, choose, then open the payment page

First review the hosting plan, region, platform, billing period and any selected options in checkout. Signing in keeps the order attached to your account. Creating that order records the configuration and amount due; it does not by itself start a paid hosting service.

Next choose an available cryptocurrency and network. Continue to the dedicated payment page for the instruction, QR code, quoted amount and status. The currency selector and transfer instruction belong to different steps, so the amount you are preparing to send stays the focus once the payment page is open.

## Match the precise supported route

| Asset | Network to select |
| --- | --- |
| BTC | Bitcoin |
| ETH | Ethereum, native ETH |
| USDT | Tron, TRC-20 |
| USDT | Ethereum, ERC-20 |
| USDC | Ethereum, ERC-20 |
| SOL | Solana |
| LTC | Litecoin |

USDT is available here through two distinct routes. Selecting USDT on Tron does not create an Ethereum instruction, and selecting Ethereum does not make another exchange withdrawal network acceptable. USDC is offered on Ethereum ERC-20 in this checkout. Do not substitute a bridged token or another network because its ticker looks similar.

An address can look familiar across services or networks. That is not a reliable way to select a blockchain. Read the explicit network label on the payment page and choose the matching network in the wallet or exchange. If that route is unavailable there, return to currency selection or ask support before sending.

## Read the amount and expiry before sending

The crypto amount comes from a live EUR quote for the recorded order total, including its selected billing period and hosting options. New payment instructions are valid for 25 minutes. Keep the amount, destination and network together; copying the address alone leaves out information needed to prepare the transfer.

The QR code contains the destination address. It does not automatically select the correct network or enter the quoted amount for you. Review those fields separately in the sending application. Wallet and network fees are separate from the order total, and applicable taxes require confirmation by the team.

If the quote expires before you send, request a fresh instruction and use its current amount. An expired quote does not prove that an earlier transfer failed or create an automatic refund. If you already sent a transfer, retain its public transaction reference and contact support about the existing order before attempting another payment.

## Follow the recorded status through confirmation

The payment page refreshes the recorded order status and uses a fortress animation while it is waiting. The animation is a visual waiting state, not evidence that a transfer exists or has a particular number of confirmations. The order becomes paid only after payment verification is recorded. Hosting provisioning is a separate step.

- Confirm the asset and exact blockchain network.

- Copy the destination from your own current payment instruction.

- Review the quoted amount, expiry and any separate sending fees.

- Keep the order reference and the public transaction reference after sending.

- If the result is unclear, ask support about that order instead of paying again.

Never provide a wallet seed phrase or private key to arrange a payment investigation. A public transaction reference, the chosen network and the order reference give support a useful starting point without exposing control of the wallet. Your account retains the order record and the related support conversation.
